Heart of Lakeland

On the Heart of Lakeland tour, luggage is transported routinely to Coniston, Eskdale and back to Windermere at the end. It can also be taken to Wasdale Head, where night 6 is spent, at extra cost (see tariff), or to Loweswater if the Heart of Lakeland extension is taken. Please bear in mind that if luggage is not taken to Wasdale Head or Loweswater there will be NO OPTION TO TRAVEL BY ROAD TO/FROM THESE POINTS WITHOUT INCURRING ADDITIONAL COST. Please think about the consequences of this if you happen to experience bad weather on the final day.

Cross Lakes Ramble

On the Cross Lakes Ramble, luggage is taken every day to the point where participants are staying the following night. If you decide to leave by train at the end of the third walking day, without spending a final night in Ravenglass, it can be delivered directly to Ravenglass train station.
